I always knew that I would come back to my comfort zone- Write to express. It had been quite some time since I poured my heart out. I had been blaming it on my busy routine, the creative block and in general 'life' as it was happening.
How could I forget to blame the AI!? Yes, Chatgpt, Gemini were also responsible for the death of my creative nudge. I considered them my enemies. I vowed to never use them for my writing purposes, but who would have ever imagined that one fine day, Chatgpt would be the reason I came back to my passion!
After consistent texting and never give up attitude to watch the movie, " The Devil wears Prada 2", my friend and I finally made it to the theatre. We enjoyed the moments and clicked some pictures as we always do. I wanted to celebrate our togetherness by letting the world know about our movie watching. So I took to instagram and started to post the pictures but I felt that I should write a catchy quote about the movie without explicitly saying, 'Enjoyed the movie with my friend'. I'm sure you know how people post their life moments in the insta world- just by saying something without saying it. Well, that's how I also wanted it to be. I came up with a range of oneliners which somehow felt off and put out the 'insta lingo'. I tried hard, almost for an entire day to come up with the right words. My thoughts just didn't transcend into the write post! Now, I did not have an alternative and so the inevitable happend.
I asked Chatgpt to help me with the same. I just typed in,
Give me some one liners to post the movie watching with my friend. It also came up with many options which was not what I wanted....the unique, catchy phrase. I thought may be Chatgpt needs some more input about the same. I have seen colleagues and friends use different prompts to get the right answers from the tool. So I decided to give in some more information and typed,
"If I post some pics with my friend on insta with the quote , Watched 'The Devil wears Prada 2' with 'The Friend', how will you perceive it?"
Chatgpt said, "Here is exactly how your followers will interpret your post:
The Film Reference:
The Movie Character: Your followers might view your friend as a Miranda Priestly figure.
The Persona: This implies your friend is stylish, demanding, powerful, or intimidating.
The Idiom Reference
"Speak of the Devil": People may think you were just talking about this friend before they arrived.
"Better the Devil You Know": Followers might think you are joking about your friend's predictable flaws.
The Relationship Dynamic
Sarcastic Affection: This reads as an inside joke or playful teasing between close friends.
A Warning: Without context, distant acquaintances might think you have a toxic or dramatic friendship.
A Compliment: In modern slang, being "the devil" can mean your friend is confidently bad, bold, or rebellious.
To help me give you a better breakdown, tell me:
What is your friend's personality like? What vibe do you want to project?
I was stressed after Chatgpt's response and it took some time for me to get back to normal. I did realise that Chatgpt is my enemy. It's even capable of making me lose my friend. Finally, I posted a couple of pics with the plain, clear statement, 'Watched the Devil wears Prada 2'.
Hahaha Semma twist … I thought since Chat gpt is your enemy you might ask for help but still … enemy enemy than
